No — we don't take any payment for standard table bookings. You only pay for your children's play session, food, and drinks once you arrive at the cafe.
Our play space is designed for children aged 5 and under. Older children are welcome too and will love our big kids baskets!
Yes! For hygiene and safety, all children and adults entering the play areas must wear socks at all times. Bare feet and shoes are strictly prohibited in these zones
Only food and drink purchased at The Playdate Cafe may be consumed on the premises — with the exception of baby food or formula. Please keep all food and drinks at your designated tables; they are strictly banned from the play areas.
Because seating is limited, we hold tables for a maximum of 15 minutes after your booking time. After that we may need to give the table to another family — just let us know if you're delayed.
Email us at info@theplaydatecafe.co.uk with your date and ideas. A deposit is required to secure the date — all party deposits are strictly non-refundable, though we may be able to transfer deposits to a new date at our discretion.
Of course — you're welcome to take photos and videos of your own children. Please be mindful of other families, and never share images featuring other children online without their parent's or guardian's express permission.
Yes, for the safety and security of all our guests, CCTV operates throughout the premises. Recordings are automatically overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle.
